Thing | Uneasy Access
A suggestief solution, not realized. Something is created- and immediately taken apart. A constant cycle of adding an removal.

Thing | Uneasy Access can be regarded as a speculative 'back-end' to an imagined interface. We are so accustomed to user-friendly operating systems we start to forget that behind every interface there is a mechanism at work.Thing | Uneasy Access is investigating how those mechanisms affect us. How do they influence the way we see, act and exist? The objects and images in the installation inhabit the exhibition space as fragments of a large system. They act as parts of a whole.

Familiar materials are placed in a different context, and in this way permit objects to take on a different role. Thing assume a hybrid identity where they recall their original function, but seem to perform a new one at the same time.
